Fresh Anointing

This devotion is based on preserving the anointing that God has bestowed upon us. This devotion is by my husband, LeeFrank Vazquez. Enjoy!

How to keep the anointing fresh? God was dealing with me about sharing this with the church this morning. So I decided I'd post this. He was first speaking to my life about this at a conference call last night with a few men of God. This was the topic spoken of and God began to give me word about it.

Find who you are in God. How you reach God. How you tap into the heavenly gifts given to you. Some find it by separating themselves, clearing their mind and asking God for direction. (Meditate in the Lord) Moses, Elijah, Jesus and many more would tap into the Holy of Holies this way. When they would separate themselves God would reveal mysteries to them, whisper things in their ears. But there are those like David, Elisha, etc. who would sing praises, play instruments in worship to the living God. It is said when David praised God, His Holy Spirit (God's) would fall upon him.

Find out what it takes for you to feel God and the anointing over your life. Then, do these things before you pray, before you seek Him, and you will see an increase in your spiritual life. Because when you enter in His presence before speaking to Him, you leave the flesh behind and enter a new realm. Once you are in that realm, you will begin to see the miracles answered that you have been asking God. In Mathew 7:7 It says "ask and you shall receive, Knock and a door shall be open unto you." So we know God wants to answer, and He wants to heal your circumstance, but why is it that we do not receive what we ask for when God promises we will? Well James 4:3 says "When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures." God wants to give you your desires, but when you ask in the flesh, He knows that those things will not do you any good. You are trying to please yourself and pray for material things, when God wants you to be pleased in Him. When you are seeking and loving only Him, then He will give you those material things as a bonus. Luke 12:31 says: Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and He will give you everything you need.

You see? Let's put it this way: When you sacrifice the flesh at the brazen altar (where the high priest would make sacrifices in the tabernacle), all your selfish desires, AND truly repent, then you can enter the Holy of Holies. When you are in the Holy of Holies, you will reach unreachable heights, and you will see God. For the Bible teaches us that is where He Is. When you are with God, who can be against you? The anointing will just be over your life and it will stay fresh, because you used your gifts to reach God. When you have reached God, you realize: "I am unclean." When you have seen this, you sacrifice your flesh, and when you are in the spirit there is nothing that can stand between you and the anointing God has placed over you. God bless.

Churches Fight Child Trafficking

Freedom Sunday: Churches Fight Child Trafficking

Article by: www.CBNNews.com                                               Thursday, February 23, 2012

Some 4,600 churches worldwide plan to observe "Freedom Sunday" this weekend. Their goal is to raise awareness of human trafficking. Internationally, UNICEF says as many as 2 million children are victims of sex trafficking. In the U.S., organizations like Shared Hope International estimate that every year at least 100,000 American children become victims. Numerous ministries and church groups around the country are taking on this tragedy in their communities.

True Authority

This is a profound reflection that has been written in form of a devotion. I would like everyone to take your time reading this devotion and apply what is said to your own life:

The Church's True Authority

It's time as Christians to take the authority Jesus left us. It's time to break the yoke of slavery bestowed on our lives. It's time we restore our lives, and pick up the shattered pieces. If God made so many promises, and did so many great miracles in the bible why not with us. What makes them any different? David was a mass-murderer, committed unfaithful adultery numerous times, and yet he is called "a man after the own heart of God." If a man like that can slay a giant, and kill bears and lions with his hand, and tame the demons that tormented Saul. What can God do in us? If God parted the red sea, brought plague to Egypt, descended a pillar of cloud by day and one of fire by night, and the list just goes on, through the prophet Moses. That was also a murderer, worshiped pagan gods (as a prince of Egypt), and had a speaking disability. What is holding us back? God tells us that we shall do greater things than each generation before. Haggai 2:9 "The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts." Jesus himself says it in John 14:12. Take the authority given to you and start giving your problems to God there is nothing God can find that is Impossible to do. But as the word also says in Romans 10:17 "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Without faith we cannot attain the miracles we seek but once you have knowledge and have heard the word of God then you can start healing with even your shadow. Acts 5:15 "so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them. 16 Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed." What more can we do church?! If God says that we shall do Greater things than this. It is time that you take your authority in Jesus and receive your miracle.

Iranian Pastor May Be Executed

I will also be updating you readers on the most recent Christian news around the globe.

Youcef Nadarkhani, Iranian Pastor, May Face Execution For 'Apostasy From Islam' (REPORT)

The Huffington Post | By Timothy Stenovec
Posted: 02/23/12 06:19 PM ET | Updated: 02/23/12 06:59 PM ET

Youcef Nadarkhani, an Iranian pastor who in 2010 was found guilty of apostasy and sentenced to death for refusing to recant Christianity, may have received a final execution order, according to the American Center for Law and Justice andFox News.
Neither Human Rights Watch nor Amnesty International could verify the information for The Huffington Post, but the White House on Thursday afternoonissued a statement condemning the reports and calling on Iran to release Pastor Nadarkhani.
"This action is yet another shocking breach of Iran’s international obligations, its own constitution, and stated religious values," the White House statement read. "The United States stands in solidarity with Pastor Nadarkhani, his family, and all those who seek to practice their religion without fear of persecution -- a fundamental and universal human right."
While unable to verify the reports, Faraz Sanei, the Iran researcher at Human Rights Watch, spoke with The Huffington Post in a telephone interview about the uncertain circumstances surrounding Nadarkhani.
"A death sentence that has been sent for implementation by the judiciary would suggest the person is at imminent risk of execution," Sanei said. "If it has been sent to the implementation department, that is very troubling."
Sanei added that if the implementation has indeed been sent, Nadarkhani is "one step closer" to being executed.
Islam is the official religion in Iran, and according to the CIA, 98 percent of the country's population is Muslim.
According to Amnesty International, Pastor Naderkhani, 34, became a Christian when he was a teenager and has said he never practiced Islam despite being born to Muslim parents. He has been a pastor for at least 10 years, according to the Christian Post.
In September, the Iranian Supreme Court upheld Naderkhani's 2010 conviction of apostasy after he reportedly refused to recant his Christian faith.

You Have Today

I would like to start the Devotions off by posting one of the many writings that I personally enjoy reading. This particular devotion is written by a famous Christian author, Max Lucado. I hope and pray that you delight yourself in these devotions as much as I do (or even more!), and I will soon be posting my own devotions. God Bless!

You Have Today                    By Max Lucado

Oh, satisfy us early with Your mercy, That we may rejoice and be glad all our days! Psalm 90:14

You can’t spend tomorrow’s money, celebrate tomorrow’s achievements—or resolve tomorrow’s riddles.
You have today!
Paul rejoiced in prison.  David wrote Psalms in the wilderness.
Paul and Silas sang in jail.  And Jesus prayed in the garden of pain.
Suppose—you choose not to work or worry your day away, but decide to give it a fair shake.
You trust more.  Stress less.
Amplify gratitude.  Mute the grumbling.
And what do you know?  Before long the day is done and—surprisingly decent.
It’s what I call a day changer!  So you resolve to do the same the next day and the next.
Days become weeks.  Weeks become months.  Months become years of good days.
It’s the way good lives are built.  One good day at a time!
“This is the day the Lord has made!  Rejoice and be glad in it!”
Have a great day—every day!

Healing Story: Lyme disease

This first testimony I am posting is one I found online. It is about a Christian woman who received healing from a harsh case of Lyme disease. My hope is that it may touch your hearts, encourage you, and glorify God. Please Enjoy! :)
Note: I will be posting both testimonies I find interesting online, and also personal testimonies of what God has done in my life. I am working on guest testimonies from friends and family, but I am still praying about it and preparing for it. I hope to see you post your own testimonies, both video and written, and share a little about God in your life.

Welcome!

God bless!

I want to start this post off by saying, Welcome! I sincerely hope and pray that you, the reader, are being lead by the Holy Spirit to this place. Because, of course, there is a purpose for everything.

"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:"
-Ecclesiastes 3:1

Therefore, I know in my heart there is a reason why you're here. You may be wondering why another "God Blog" has popped up in what we call the world wide web. This is my response: Because God so loved the world. And He still does! God's son Jesus came to save the world, to let the people of the world (who utilize the web - world-wide -) know that He is the only way to salvation and eternal life.

Just think, if every single person on the web around the world would believe in Him, how this world would be!

I have decided to start this blog because I truly believe that I can make a change in this world, just by doing my job: announcing the Gospel to every person, in every nation. God calls every one of us to preach the great news of salvation and eternity with Him. Who wouldn't want to go to heaven?! Crystal seas, streets of gold, mansions, and best of all, we'll be able to see our Lord and Savior. People, get ready, because Jesus is coming soon!

Join me here and share the wonderful testimonies that God has done and is doing in your life. I will also be writing devotionals so that you may go on with your day with a thought or memory in mind - straight from the Lord. I pray that everything published on this blog will be of blessing and encouragement to you. And lastly, I also pray what Paul prayed:

"I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ."

-Philemon 1:6

Thank you for reading, I will have many more posts coming soon! God bless and Enjoy! :)
